The manager and staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The hotel's cleanliness was mind-blowing with rooms being cleaned and towels changed daily. The location was super convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the town, and the added bonus of free private car parking was jaw-dropping. We loved the option to choose our preferred pillow type from a selection of 4. Daniel at reception was a superstar, allowing us to check-in early and providing us with a map for our day trip to Santander. The facilities were excellent, although we wish there was an English Channel on the flat-screen TV. an amazing stay with top-notch service and great amenities.

We were eager to visit the Cave of Altamira, so we chose Salldemar. The hotel surprised us with its free WiFi, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We particularly liked the TV lounge, where we could relax after a day of exploring.

Convenient access to room upon arrival and good parking. Short walk to a beautiful town center. The room was clean and spacious with a small balcony and country views. It even had a full size bath.

I didn't find any negative aspects during my stay at the hotel.

The staff was extremely helpful in providing local information and recommendations. They even drew me a map to the Museum of the Inquisition, saving me from getting lost in a web of medieval cobblestone streets.

The rooms at Hotel Salldemar were cozy and comfortable, with everything I needed. I loved the private bathroom with a bath and bidet, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring Santillana del Mar. The flat-screen TV and desk were also convenient for winding down and catching up on my favorite shows. my stay was warm and inviting.

Personally, I would have preferred a bathroom with a shower instead of a bathtub. But hey, that's just my preference!

Salldemar is a 2-star hotel that deserves a third star. The staff, like Daniel on reception, are caring and attentive. They even let us check-in early and choose our preferred pillow from a selection of four. The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful town, yet still quiet. Free parking at the hotel is a nice bonus, and Daniel even gave us a map of Santander for our day trip.
